What is Lumen Relay?
Lumen Relay is a voluntary bandwidth donation client. Users can donate a limited amount of unused internet bandwidth to support AI data training infrastructure.
Is this a way to earn money?
No. Lumen Relay is not a passive income product and does not promise earnings, payouts, tokens, rewards, or compensation. It should be presented as donation only.
Does visiting the website share my internet?
No. Visiting the website does not share bandwidth. Donation requires downloading the client, installing it, signing in, reading the disclosure, and enabling donation.
Does downloading the file start donation?
No. Downloading the file only saves the installer. You can delete it immediately. Nothing runs unless you install and enable the client.
Can I delete the file after downloading it?
Yes. You can delete the downloaded installer at any time. If you delete it before installing, no client runs and no bandwidth is donated.
Can I uninstall the client later?
Yes. The client should be removable through the normal uninstall process for your operating system. You should also be able to disable donation inside the client.
What am I donating?
You are donating a limited portion of unused internet bandwidth. The client should not require access to your personal files.
What is the donation used for?
The donation is described as supporting AI data training workflows and related infrastructure tasks.
Does Lumen Relay access my files?
No. The service should not access personal documents, downloads, desktop files, photos, passwords, private messages, or browser history.
Can I set a limit?
Yes. The client should let users set daily or monthly donation limits and pause donation whenever needed.
Can donation affect internet speed?
It may use part of the connection while active. Users should set limits and pause donation during calls, gaming, streaming, or work sessions if needed.
Who should participate?
Only users who own or are authorized to use the device and internet connection should participate.
Is Lumen Relay responsible for ISP charges?
Users are responsible for their own internet plan, data caps, overage fees, ISP restrictions, workplace rules, school rules, and network permissions.
Are the download buttons real?
In this static site package, download buttons are placeholders. Replace them with signed production installers before launch.
